IT services in
La Garriga.
La Garriga is 10.8 km from Granollers, about 13 minutes by car. Of the five municipalities we cover, it has the most scattered housing, with the most large houses and second homes, and its southern industrial estates won't have their own fibre ducting until 2028. Computer repair, mesh Wi-Fi, radio links and security cameras for the spa town.
What we do near you
Same team, same prices as in Granollers. These are the services we're asked for most in La Garriga.
Two very different connectivity problems
Of the five municipalities we cover, La Garriga has the most scattered housing stock: the Town Council's own urban development plan (POUM) describes an urban structure made up of separate clusters. That dispersion explains two very different situations we often deal with here.
Large houses that a single router's Wi-Fi can't cover
According to the 2021 census (Idescat), La Garriga has the highest share of homes over 120 m² of the five municipalities we cover (22.5% of main residences) and also the highest share of second homes, at 12.6%. These are houses and detached villas, many in clusters away from the centre, where a single router can't reach every floor or the garden. The answer usually isn't more power but more access points: a mesh Wi-Fi system spreads the signal across several nodes and hands you from one to the next as you move around, without dropouts. We work out how many nodes are needed based on floor area and layout before installing (we explain it in detail in our guide to how many mesh Wi-Fi nodes you need), and where it's better to run cable rather than rely solely on Wi-Fi, we combine it with structured cabling.
Businesses on industrial estates that can't wait until 2028
The industrial estates in the south of the municipality (Can Met Sidru, Congost, Ca n'Illa and Can Terrers) are part of the Diputació de Barcelona's Programa de Millora de Polígons Industrials 2025-28, with a €1,440,000 grant towards a €2,200,000 project that includes, among other works, the fibre-optic ducting they currently lack. The works are due to finish before June 2028. A business that can't wait that long for a reliable connection has two alternatives in the meantime: a Starlink satellite link or a point-to-point radio link from a unit or a raised point with line of sight, depending on the distance and the latency the business needs. We already serve businesses on La Garriga's industrial estates in this situation, both as their main connection and as a backup in case the fibre they do have fails.

What working in La Garriga is like
La Garriga has plenty of old buildings and quite a few Modernista houses, and you notice it in the Wi-Fi before anything else. Thick walls, high ceilings and floor slabs the signal can't get through: a router in the hallway won't cover a three-storey house, whatever speed you're paying for.
The answer is almost never another repeater, which also splits the network in two. It's one access point per floor with cable run wherever possible, or a well-placed mesh when cabling isn't feasible. The difference shows in the video call that no longer drops when you go upstairs to the study.
The rest is the usual and we do it here too: remote working, cameras for houses with gardens and second homes, and professional office equipment that needs proper backups. We're up here every day, so a visit isn't an expedition.
About La Garriga
Do you make home visits in La Garriga?+
Yes. We come up from Granollers, 10.8 km and about 13 minutes away by car, to homes and businesses in La Garriga, with no call-out charge. Before setting off we try to solve whatever we can by phone or remotely (many software faults are fixed that way the same day), and if we need to come in person, for a hardware fault, network installation, cameras or mesh Wi-Fi in a large house, we arrange it for the same day or the next, depending on urgency. La Garriga's housing is quite spread out, with clusters some distance from the compact town centre, so if you live somewhere a bit out of the way that's no problem: it's precisely the kind of home where we do most of our work here, among large detached houses and second homes that are only used some weekends.
I live in a large house or an area far from the centre. Will normal Wi-Fi reach everywhere?+
Probably not with a single router, and it's the question we're asked most often in La Garriga. According to the 2021 census, of the five municipalities we cover this is the one with the highest share of homes over 120 m² (22.5% of main residences) and also the one with the most second homes, at 12.6%. These are houses on several floors, often with a garden or on large plots far from the town centre, where the signal from a single router loses strength crossing load-bearing walls or simply over distance. The usual solution is a mesh Wi-Fi system: several access points spread around the house that share the work and hand you from one to the next without you noticing as you move around. We size it according to the floor area and layout before installing it, and if you're unsure how many points you'd need, our home users page has more detail on how we handle large houses.
I have a business on an industrial estate in La Garriga. When will the new fibre arrive?+
Not before June 2028 at the earliest. The industrial estates in the south of the municipality (Can Met Sidru, Congost, Ca n'Illa and Can Terrers) are part of a €2,200,000 improvement project, largely funded by the Diputació de Barcelona (€1,440,000) under its Programa de Millora de Polígons Industrials 2025-28, which among other things includes the fibre-optic ducting that is currently missing. Until those works are finished, a business that depends on its connection can't just sit and wait: we set up point-to-point radio links for businesses with line of sight to a point with a good connection, or a Starlink installation as the main or backup connection for the duration of the works. We already work with businesses on La Garriga's industrial estates in this situation, and with the estate's business association to look at joint solutions when several units share the same problem.
Does La Garriga have anything specific that affects security or cameras?+
Yes, and it's recent. In April 2026 the Town Council launched Drag Alert, an app that connects shops in the municipality directly with the Local Police to report thefts as they happen, and which it intends to extend to the residential estates as well. It's a sign that the security of shops and homes away from the centre is a real concern in the municipality, beyond whatever may happen in the town centre. We don't install or manage Drag Alert, but we do set up the part that complements it: security cameras with their own recording, mobile access and motion alerts, both in shops in the centre and in houses in the most outlying parts of the municipality. If you have a business or a home in a scattered area, it's one of the cases where strengthening your own surveillance makes the most sense.
Do you work with businesses and shops in La Garriga the same way as in Granollers?+
Yes, same team and the same terms. La Garriga's business community is mostly SMEs and micro-businesses (according to Social Security figures for June 2026 there are some 4,225 registered workers in the municipality, most of them in the services sector), and its most representative industries have traditionally had no more than 40 employees. It's a similar profile to the one we serve every day in Granollers: businesses that need their network and equipment to work without more complication than necessary, with no in-house IT department. We install and maintain networks, Wi-Fi, cabling and video surveillance for shops and offices, support everyday equipment and, if needed, also manage the business's hosting and cloud. There's no extra charge for travelling to La Garriga over what the same job would cost in Granollers.
