How long does a repair take?+
Most faults are fixed within 24–48 h of the machine arriving at our workshop, and software problems we can tackle remotely are usually sorted the same day. The timescale depends on two things. The first is the type of fault: a virus clean-up, a reinstall or a drive swap is done the same day; a motherboard or a screen depends on the part. The second is that very part: if it has to be ordered, we tell you the supplier's lead time when we give you the quote, before you authorise anything, and we don't start until you say yes. The diagnosis is free and commits you to nothing, so you know what's wrong and what it costs before deciding whether it's worth repairing or replacing. Repairs start at €39.Can I get my photos back from a broken drive?+
In many cases, yes, but it depends on what has broken. If the problem is logical —deleted files, a drive formatted by mistake, a partition that no longer shows up— the chances are good. If the damage is physical —the drive clicks, squeals, spins up and stops, or the BIOS no longer detects it— a head is touching the platter, and every time you power it on more data is destroyed. There's just one rule here: switch it off and don't plug it in again. With SSDs the window is shorter, because the system genuinely erases the blocks it marks as free. We start with a recovery diagnosis, which comes off the quote if you accept it; we tell you what can be rescued and at what price, and only then do you decide. Yes. We visit homes and businesses in Granollers and across the Vallès Oriental, and you can also bring your machine to our workshop at Carrer Joan Vidal i Jumbert 10. Each option has its place. A visit makes sense when the problem won't fit in a box: a desktop with all its peripherals, a network that's playing up, a badly placed router, cameras, or an office where we need to see the whole set-up to understand what's going wrong. Bringing it to the workshop works better for laptops and single-machine faults, because we have the tools and spare parts to hand and the diagnosis is quicker.
